Glophics Team Building 2024 – Commotion at Costabella Resort
The time has come once again for Glophics PH annual team building! And this time, we had a special guest coming in to join us for fun. Like last year, the venue for this event is at the Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel in Lapu-Lapu! The Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel is a quaint resort where patrons are able to have fun in relative peace and quiet. But don’t let the ambiance fool you, there are a ton of things to do in your free time. From parasailing to diving, you can really enjoy everything the sea has to offer!
Of course, the magnificent beachfront isn’t all there is to the Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel. The pool allows you to swim in complete leisure, and there’s a rec room if you don’t feel like going in for a swim!
Now let’s talk about the actual event!
All of the employees arrived at the venue before 9:00 am to relax and prepare before the party started. To make sure that everyone would meet someone new, the departments were separated and members were placed in mixed, predetermined tables. The early call time gave the newbies time to get to know coworkers they haven’t gotten the chance to meet.
After everyone is accounted for, the event finally begins! Of course, every event at Glophics begins with a word from our wonderful managers. After Mr. Edgardo Enot finishes his speech, the festivities begin!
First, we start with the group presentation, a talent show! Each department is able to showcase the Glophics spirit and let their talented side out. It was obvious from the start just how much it means to the employees to let loose and just dance! Every presentation was different, highlighting each department’s creative ideas and personality.
Of course, the fun doesn’t end there, because there are TWO contests! This time around, the contest features individuals in their very own groups. Unlike the group presentation, the smaller numbers give individuals the opportunity to let their individual skills shine. A total of four teams competed, much to the delight of the onlooking crowd.
After all the fun, it was finally the moment that everyone was waiting for: Lunch time! The good people over at the Castabella resort provided a delicious spread, making the wait well worth it. While people sat and chowed down, newbies were able to meet and mingle with the old guard! But all good things have to come to an end and it’s time to move on to the next set of activities.
After everyone had eaten their fill, it was time for a round of fun games! There were two types of games prepared and each employee was paired off with each other to form groups. The teams competed with one another to get some wonderful prizes!
Of course, a day at the beach wouldn’t be completed without some fun in the sun! After the games were done, employees flocked to the pool to cool off and relax. One pool had a slide that the employees had fun taking their turns going down on!
Overall, it was a fun day for everyone. The next event on our calendar is our Christmas and year-end party! So be sure to wait for that blog to eventually drop!
